After my studies, I opted for the traineeship of Kapsch Group. For me definitely the best choice!

In 2014, I entered the professional life directly after finishing my studies and without any notable practical experience. Therefore, a trainee program where I was able to gather a lot of different experiences in a short period of time, was very alluring to me and the best opportunity to find my place in the working world.

The trainee program of the Kapsch Group gives the trainees a lot of freedom, which you can’t find in other programs, and relies on a high degree of individual initiative. The pleasant atmosphere I encountered at my first interview wasn’t just for show, but is lived in the Kapsch Group. One always has the possibility to ask fellow trainees for help or just exchange views in the regular meetings we have. During my first station, I could decide where I wanted to go next. After six month in the department of business development & consulting at the Kapsch BusinessCom, I changed to my now second station which is in internal communications at Kapsch AG.

The tasks and projects differ from station to station. In my first department, I was part of an internal project regarding the development of an app for the sales department. In internal communications, the time I spend on projects and daily business is split about fifty-fifty. Nonetheless, I had the opportunity to almost independently implement a group-wide campaign about security awareness.

Beside my tasks in the internal communications department, I’m currently already preparing for my next station which I will do abroad, most likely at the Kapsch TrafficCom IVHS Inc. in the U.S. An experience I can hardly wait for.
